The Orientalbar & Bistrot occupies a space rich in history, once serving as a chapel where Antonio Vivaldi taught music to orphans. The interior is a visual feast, adorned with deep red velvet sofas, antique Thai armour from the 19th century, and Fortuny lamps that cast a warm, inviting glow. A site-specific neon artwork by Joseph Kosuth adds a contemporary touch to the eclectic decor.

The bar boasts an extensive selection of beverages, including classic cocktails and innovative creations. Signature drinks like the Oriental Spritz, Spritz Antico, and Signature Negroni are crafted using locally sourced ingredients, reflecting the Metropole's Venetian heritage with an oriental twist.

The culinary offerings are equally impressive, featuring Venetian classics infused with oriental spices and techniques. The "Oriental tasting menu" is a highlight, offering dishes such as tuna with sesame, Wakame seaweed, and passion fruit gel. From October to March, the Metropole's Tea Ritual offers a refined afternoon experience. In collaboration with Dammann Frères, guests can choose from over 30 premium tea blends, including Darjeeling Superior, Assam Superior, and Nepalese Himalayan varieties. The ceremony is accompanied by the chef's mini pastries, all enjoyed in a cosy, candlelit atmosphere.
