Design & Atmosphere

Created by architect Paolo Richelli, the interior is a contemporary homage to lagoon life, featuring a palette of lagoon greys, green‑blues, walnut tones, and bronze lighting. The softly lit, spacious interiors and sun‑lit terrace strike a harmonious balance that speaks to both comfort and style.

Cultural Connection

Part of the wider Giorgio Cini Foundation’s project, the café sits within a cultural hub that includes the Basilica, the Bell Tower, a contemporary art collection, and a restored convent. After a gastronomic stop, guests can continue exploring the island’s rich history and panoramic vantage points, making the visit doubly rewarding. The initial concept was born during the 2018 Venice Biennale via a vintage Ape‑van precursor before evolving into its current refined form.
