Save big on flights to Venice. Book your dream trip.

There are a few ways to get here. You can reach the city by car, which takes about half an hour. The route is scenic as you cross the Venetian Lagoon through Via della Liberta. You can see islands like San Giuliano or Isola San Secondo. But the downside to driving is that parking in Venice can be tricky. Therefore, going with a vaporetto (a water bus) or by a private boat can be a better solution.

To get to St. Mark's Square for a reasonable price and without worrying about parking, choose a vaporetto. Take the Alilaguna Blue or Orange lines. You can buy your tickets online or at the departure point. After you reach Piazzale Roma, take a vaporetto line 1 or 2 and get off at San Marco Giardinetti or San Marco Vallaresso. Both are a few meters away from the destination. Another option might be a bit pricey, but the most comfortable. You can rent a private boat or take a private water taxi.
