Cannaregio
Cannaregio is een van de zes sestiere (wijken) van Venetië. Het is de op één na grootste en dichtstbevolkte wijk van Venetië. Het heeft een rijke geschiedenis, die teruggaat tot de eerste ontwikkeling van Venetië. Sommige mensen denken dat het woord Cannaregio afkomstig is van de term "Canal Regio" (Koninklijk Kanaal).
